The core mission at Kids to Love is to meet the needs of foster children. Through this mission, we take care of kids from Kindergarten through young adulthood.

Our first hope is to find Forever Families for children in foster care, and we carry out this purpose by actively recruiting adoptive parents. Out of 350 children whose stories Kids to Love has shared, 295 have found adoptive homes.

Many foster children who remain in care are touched by one of Kids to Love’s other programs.

Each summer we provide backpacks and school supplies to thousands of children across Alabama and Tennessee. In the spring we award college scholarships to graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their education. To date, Kids to Love has awarded nearly 450 scholarships. Most recently, Kids to Love launched KTECH, a workforce training initiative to fast-track students toward a career in Mechatronics.

Kids to Love’s annual “Christmas for the Kids” drive unites our community each December to provide Christmas gifts for foster children who live in the Tennessee Valley.

The See Meth Stop Meth tip line operated by Kids to Love works with law enforcement and DHR to rescue children who are living in places where methamphetamine is cooked, used or sold. If a child is removed from a meth home, Kids to Love offers vouchers to meet their needs of clothing, diapers or formula.

Our model to Invest, Educate, and Sustain is re-writing the ending for foster children who, on their own, may have little hope.

Incorporated in 2004, Kids to Love has impacted more than 190,000 foster children. Kids to Love is a 501(c)3 approved Foundation.
