Daytona 500 >Dale Earnhardt, Jr. won his second Daytona 500 a decade after his first win. NASCAR’s most popular driver finished as the runner up in 3 of the past 4 Daytona 500’s and snapped a 55-race winless streak dating back to 2012. The race was delayed by weather for over 6 hours (for the third time in six years). Dan Jr. said he would join twitter if he won the race and as of Monday morning he was approaching 300-thousand followers (Danica Patrick has surpassed 1-million twitter followers). The race was stopped after 38 laps with a tornado warning. During the delay David Ragan made a pizza run in his firesuit, Denny Hamlin played basketball, Clint Bowyer answered questions from fans on twitter and Ricky Stenhouse Jr.’s crew practiced tornado drills. >In the Richard Petty vs. Danica Patrick ordeal, Petty was asked if he could beat Patrick in a ono-on-one race, sure! The 76-year-old hall of famer hasn’t raced in 25-years but said, bring it on! >Standings: 1. Dale Earnhardt Jr 2. Denny Hamlin >Schedule: NATIONWIDE SERIES: Blue Jeans Go Green 200 Saturday, March 1 2:45 p.m. (ABC) Phoenix International Raceway SPRINT CUP SERIES: The Profit on CNBC 500 Sunday, March 2 2:00 p.m. (Fox-54 and 106.1 WTAK) Phoenix International Speedway
