A technology company in the San Francisco Bay area called Memphis Meats believes they have developed the first lab-grown chicken nugget.

They’re calling it “clean” chicken because it was produced with self-producing cells, without the need to feed, breed, or slaughter animals.

They literally grew the chicken nugget in a Petri dish.

It supposedly tastes great – and is a follow up to a "clean meatball" they grew from cow cells last year. Yum? (Vice)
