Worst Zoo Ever Opens In China

Going to a zoo can be a memorable experience, and it certainly was for visitors of a new one in China - just not for the reason's you'd think.

The only animals at the new wildlife park in Yulin are some geese and a few roosters in a cage. There's also a "longevity tortoise" in a fish tank with a sign that says it invites luck. People tossed dollar bills and coins in the small tank.

If that weren't enough to make the Guishan Zoo a joke, they also advertised a penguin invasion, only to have a bunch of inflatable penguins in an enclosure.

Photos of the sad scenes have gone viral on Chinese social media, especially since the zoo promises to "educate visitors about living creatures."

For their part, the zoo later explained that they never said the penguins would be real.
