Ariana Grande Visits NASA Space Center, Plays Her Song 'NASA' For Crew

Ariana Grande finally got to make one of her childhood dreams come true — visiting the NASA Johnson Space Center.

On Saturday (May 18), the "7 rings" singer documented her trip to the Houston-located space center, where she got the opportunity to get a private tour of the facility, wear a real-life space suit, and play her song, "NASA" for the team.

"Thank you for the coolest day of my life @nasa," Ariana captioned an Instagram Story video that showed her in her astronaut suit as "NASA" played in the background. "My mind is still processing and devouring every second of what just happened but I can’t wait to share more. What a special day and experience. Thank you so so so so much for your generosity and for showing my friends n I around."

In a second IG video, the 25-year-old singer shared footage from inside the Mission Control room, which had a personalized message for her on the big screen. "Welcome to Mission Control Ariana Grande," it read.

Nasa also posted about Ariana's visit to their Instagram Story, reposting the pop star's Mission Control IG video with the caption "Thanks for Visiting." They additionally included a line from Ariana's song lyrics: "It's like you're the universe and we're N-A-S-A."

As fans know, "NASA" is off Ariana's latest album, Thank U, Next, which was released back in February. The track begins with RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Shangela’s remix of Neil Armstrong's famous moon landing quote: "This is one small step for woman, one giant leap for womankind."
