People Of Oregon Will Soon Be Able To Legally Eat Roadkill

A bill just signed by the governor of Oregon will allow Oregon residents to collect, cook, and eat any deer or elk they hit on the road with their cars.

Before you pick up and move there (because I know you desperately want to be able to do this), the law still has about a year before it goes into effect.

Oh, and if you're wondering about anything else that ends up on the side of the road...turns out is already legal to collect and eat coyotes, skunks, opossum, badgers, porcupines, and weasels. Those animals are unprotected.
