The latest numbers are in for the North Alabama real estate market and Amanda Howard wanted you to be the first to see them. She compared these statistics to those she saw at the end of November 2016. She's still seeing an overall increase in sales and home values while seeing a decrease in the available inventory. Here’s what else she saw:
- 491 home sales in North Alabama, up 7% from last year.
- A 2% increase in the average sale price, which is now up to $213,000.
- A 0.5% increase in the average list price, which is now $218,000.
- An 11% decrease in the average days on market. On average, homes are only taking 66 days to sell on right now.
