It's snake season so watch your step!


The above Tweet came out last year and blew me away! I grew up in the country and saw snakes all the time but the picture got me thinking how many I never knew were right next to me. Even knowing where the copperhead is, he's basically invisible. The picture that highlights the little fellow is below the video.

This week the below video came out of Blount County, just to the south of us. A woman found a rattlesnake in her backyard and it turned out to be 5ft long with 14 rattles! Thankfully she had a professional handle the removal so nobody got hurt. They can be anywhere and with the temperature rising there is only going to be more of them out there slithering around.

When you're outside, be sure and watch your step!
