At the start of January, my Girlfriend and I adopted a black lab mix named Zoey. She has been a handful being a 1 year old puppy and all but she is just the most precious little devil. We adopted her from the Greater Huntsville Humane Society so heading back to check out the Thrift Shop at GHHS was her first time back. She handled it great! She would have even hopped in to play with all the other pups if I had let her but we were on a mission to find some hidden gems at the Thrift Shop.
In case you don't know, the Thrift Shop is hidden just a little bit behind the Greater Huntsville Humane Society (2812 Johnson Rd SW B, Huntsville). The Thrift Shop receives many donations including high end stuff that you'll be able to get for pennies on the dollar. The key is checking in constantly to see what new merchandise may pop up. The best part is the profits for the Thrift Shop go right back to help with GHHS's cause. So while you're saving money, you're also helping dogs like Zoey get a second chance!
