It's not a holiday, but a lot of people have today circled on their calendars – because it's Friday the 13th.
According to a poll taken by Britain's Daily Mirror, most of us pay attention to the significance of the day – with 5% of people so freaked out by it that they refuse to leave home at all.
And those that do? A good number will do something to fend off bad vibes. 80% of those polled admitted to being superstitious and prone to using good luck rituals.
36% wear a lucky item of clothing
35% regularly knock on wood
23% carry a lucky coin
22% cross their fingers – or toes
