The Japanese are often more technologically advanced than we are here in the U.S. This is especially true when it comes to toilets.
They’ve got toilets over there that are so high tech that tourists have a hard time figuring out how to use them.
These advanced toilets have push button controllers that allow users to do such things as raise the lid, raise the seat, flush big, and flush small – among others.
The problem is, these push button controllers have symbols on them that some people aren’t understanding, which could lead to bathroom anxiety – which is never a good thing. (Independent)
