Here’s a weird one ... So, there was a truck spill in a town in Wisconsin recently that left "hundreds of thousands" of red Skittles all over the highway. But that’s not the weird part.
Believe it or not, the local sheriff’s office reported that those Skittles were on their way to feed cows. Yep, cows.
Apparently the practice of using candy in cow feed has been going on for years now. Bakeries and candy companies sell their rejects as animal feed, which are bought up as a source of "cheap carbs," a former farmer told WBAY in Green Bay, Wisconsin. (Cosmo)
