Talk about turning trash into gold ... The 2020 Summer Olympics will be held in Tokyo, and the Japanese Olympic committee has come up with a very green way to create the medals for the game.

They have asked the residents of Tokyo to donate their old phones, tablets, and computers so they can recycle them into the medals that will be used at the games. It’s a part of Japan’s “nationwide green initiative.” They have about 5,000 medals to make so they're gonna need a lot of old phones. (Seventeen)
