Lloyd’s of London is one of the most famous insurance companies in the world. And now, they have adopted a no-drinking rule for employees. The liquid lunch at Lloyd's of London is no more.
The 329-year-old company alerted its 800 employees that they are no longer allowed to drink alcohol from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
They say the change is not the result of any alcohol-related problems, but instead a move to make Lloyd’s the same as most of the other businesses in London’s financial sector. (New York Post)
