ATTITUDE OVER IQ

When it comes to success, brains are great, but attitude is everything ...

New research from Stanford University reveals that your attitude is a better predictor of your success than your IQ.

According to Psychologist Carol Dweck, people have one of two attitudes: a fixed mindset or a growth mindset.

If you have a fixed mindset, you believe you are who you are and that you can’t change. This makes it difficult when you are faced with new challenges.

People with a growth mindset believe that they can take on anything and improve with effort. And people with this attitude do better than those with a fixed mindset, even when they have a lower IQ, because they like new challenges and treat them as opportunities. (Business Insider)
