The popularity of golf has slowed down in a big way in recent years.
The decline of the career of Tiger Woods hasn’t helped, but other things are at work as well.
Because more and more guys are pitching in with household chores and child rearing, they’re not getting as many chances to spend long mornings at the country club.
Also, golf is still expensive. Plenty of men just don’t have the extra money to throw at such a pricey pastime.
And, attention spans are at an all-time low. It’s a lot easier to commit to a fast-paced activity like CrossFit than a leisurely stroll over 18 holes of golf. (MarketWatch)
