Earlier this week, free agent wide receiver Jeremy Maclin decided to sign with the Baltimore Ravens.
According to reports, he could have also signed with the Philadelphia Eagles or the Buffalo Bills.
While money and fit with the team were certainly big factors in the decision, Maclin also might have been swayed by an offer made by a local seafood restaurant.
Jimmy’s Seafood – which is an award-winning restaurant in Baltimore – offered Maclin free crab cakes for life.
The offer was enough to get Maclin to sign with the team. We’ll now have to see if other players are jealous – and if that jealousy causes trouble in the locker room. (Fox Sports)
