Help For Your Online Dating Profile

If you’re hoping to get more -- and better -- matches with your online dating matches, the most important word to include in your profile is “healthy.” Some number-crunchers at the dating site found that putting the word “healthy” in your profile gets you 17 percent more responses.

Some words to avoid…

Profiles that mention being “laid back” get 50 percent fewer responses.

Being “ambitious” doesn’t help, either, attracting 38 percent fewer messages.

You can’t even mention your job -- that results in a 10 percent dip.

Leave off your hobbies and interests. Mentioning music means 26 percent fewer messages, while books you enjoy get 18 percent fewer.

So… Don’t get tricky. You’re “healthy.” That’s it. Nothing more. (Zoosk)
