Huntsville Hospital Foundation is combining two summer favorites to raise money for a great cause. The Claws for a Cause Crawfish Boil and Cornhole Tournament, hosted by the Foundation’s Development Council, is Saturday, June 2, 4–8 p.m. at S.R. Butler Green at Campus 805.
The second annual event will benefit Huntsville Hospital’s Neurological ICU, providing innovative equipment and technology for patients across North Alabama.
“Claws for a Cause will enable the Foundation to purchase cardiac chairs and communication boards for our Neurological ICU,” said Huntsville Hospital Spine & Neuro Neurosurgeon Jason Banks, MD. “These chairs will increase patient mobility in the unit, and the boards are essential tools in helping patients verbalize their needs and symptoms. We hope for a record turnout on June 2 to make these purchases possible to better serve our patients.”
Tickets for Claws for a Cause are $25 and include entry, all-you-can-eat crawfish and an event koozie. Teams of two are also encouraged to sign up for the cornhole tournament for $20 per team.
