Burt Reynolds passes away at 82

TMZ has reported that Burt Reynolds has passed away at the age of 82. He died of a heart attack this morning (Thursday, September 6th) at a hospital in Florida surrounded by his family.

Reynolds has had heart problems from years, in February 2010 he underwent major heart surgery.

Burt Reynolds starred in many movies including "Smokey and the Bandit", "Boogie Nights", "The Longest Yard", and "Cannonball Run".

Reynolds was a star football player at Florida State where he also roomed with Lee Corso.
