Per Decatur Animal Services - - - Let’s start our informational session of Dog vs Cat with the concept of space. If you have a small, confined space like an apartment or condo, you may want to consider a cat. A cat can easily get along with not ever having to go outside. A feline is not as pastoral as the canine and can adapt to exercising, playing and investigating in small confined spaces. The canine needs a little more romping room and at least a small patch of grass for necessities. So, think cat if you are in a place that doesn’t have much space.
