Parker McCollum's Wife Reveals How Early Baby No. 2 Arrived

Hallie Ray Light McCollum is honoring her newborn baby’s due date.

Hallie and her husband, country superstar Parker McCollum, welcomed Baby No. 2 on July 30. Son Rocker Tommy Light McCollum arrived weighing 8 pounds, 7 oz, the new parents of two announced in a post on Instagram: “THANK YOU JESUS for another healthy baby boy! we are so in love with our little fam! mom & dad x 2 here we gooooooo!”

On her Instagram story on Wednesday afternoon (August 5), Hallie shared a photo of her two sons and wrote: “happy due date to our sweet rocker 🤍 we love you so much!”

Rocker Tommy joins big brother Major Yancey Tyler McCollum, who was born nearly one week before his due date on August 8, 2024. Hallie shared on her Instagram story earlier this week that “Parker mentioned the name Rocker a while back so it’s always been on the list!” Hallie wrote. “Tommy is from Parker’s grandpa & Light is my maiden name.” She added on another slide of her Instagram story that afternoon that Brock, Boone, Mace, Teddy, Hayden and Case were also among names up for consideration. Hallie said she “truly feel(s) so blessed,” as she embraces the first moments as a family of four.

Parker previously explained of his firstborn son’s name, “it’s dope. I was watching Rose Bowl highlights, and I saw Major Applewhite, [current University of South Alabama Football head coach and former Texas quarterback].” He thought, “‘Major McCollum would be sick.’”

Parker is one of several country artists to welcome a baby into the family this year. Mitchell Tenpenny and Meghan Patrick, Conner Smith, Runaway June’s Natalie Stovall are also expecting additions to the family in 2026, among others in the country music community. See the list of pregnancy announcements here.
