She's one of the most beautiful women in showbiz, so maybe people were just LOOKING for a reason to poke a little fun.
At the Oscars last night, Nicole Kidman showed up in a glamorous dress, with her amazing husband Keith on her arm and seemed to really enjoy the festivities.
However, when she was caught on camera clapping...strangely, the internet took notice and did not let her off easy.
Not everybody was jumping on the bandwagon, however, and some offered up reasons for why she may have been applauding that way.
(I personally agree with the Cheetos one all the way.)
