According to WHNT, the Huntsville Police Department has charged a man with "Soliciting or Providing Support for an Act of Terrorism".
After a tip to law enforcement, 22-year old Aziz Sayyed, was taken into custody in the area of Church Street and Clinton Avenue Thursday afternoon.
Investigators say Sayyed is a U.S. citizen, born in North Carolina.
There have been no further details released.
