Y'all....Jayden K Smith is not a real person.

They always sound just legit enough to be believable, don't they?

I, and countless numbers of friends, received this message this morning:

"Please tell all the contacts in your messenger list not to accept Jayden K. Smith friendship request. He is a hacker and has the system connected to your Facebook account. If one of your contacts accepts it, you will also be hacked, so make sure that all your friends know it. Thanks. Forwarded as received."

Definitely, in an age where identity theft is rampant, we are constantly on edge.

But here's one less worry: Jayden K. Smith is a hoax.

No, really

While accepting friend requests from strangers may not be the best idea, because they may try to trick you into visiting a website or sharing personal information; there is no way that one of your friends accepting a request will cause you to be hacked.

Tell ya friends.
