Where: Jones Valley PetSmart Parking Lot, 2750 Carl T Jones Drive, Huntsville, AL 35802
When: Saturday, September 16, 2017 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, September 17, 2017 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Why: The Big White Tent Pet Adoption Event is a great opportunity for potential adopters to meet deserving pets. The event helps save dogs and cats from neglect and abuse, and from death in municipal shelters. Adoptable pets are available at greatly reduced adoption fees, much lower than their veterinary bills.
A New Leash on Life has a lofty but achievable goal of saving all of Alabama’s homeless animals by reducing the number of pets killed in shelters and by reducing the number of homeless pets on the streets in Alabama’s communities. All of them deserve our help!
The first two events of 2017 resulted in 288 adoptions. However, there are many more deserving animals who need forever homes this fall. Adoptable pets are available at greatly reduced adoption fees, much lower than their veterinary bills. A New Leash on Life will have a variety of dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes.
