Morgan County Drive-Thru Flu Clinic

The Morgan County Health Department (MCHD) and the Morgan County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) will conduct a Point of Dispensing (POD) drive through flu clinic on October 19th, 2017 at the Morgan County Fairgrounds, 2919 Fairgrounds Road, Decatur, from 9:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. (or until quantity is exhausted).

 It is recommended that the following receive the flu vaccine:

Pregnant women

Children over age six months

People over age 50

Anyone with a chronic disease

Health Care Personnel

 The purpose of the clinic is to provide flu vaccine to the general public to assist in reducing flu illness and prevent flu-related hospitalizations.  MCHD and Morgan EMA will also use this clinic as an exercise to respond in case an Influenza outbreak occurred and a mass vaccination is needed to help prevent the spread of a virus.  The exercise is a joint response between Morgan County Pubic Health, Morgan County EMA, Decatur Police Department, Decatur Fire & Rescue, the Decatur Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (CPAAA) and the Morgan County Volunteer Organization Active in Disasters (VOAD).

Cost: $5.00 or Free with Medicare Card present.
