Carrie Underwood predicted her “best year yet” as she celebrated her 39th birthday with her family — and a gorgeous cake. The award-winning country artist took to her Instagram to share a photo of the beautiful pink cake, reading “happy birthday mommy” in a shimmering cursive font and a heart dotted over the “I.” Underwood wrote in her caption that she’s “feeling loved this evening! Thanks for all the birthday wishes, everyone! I do believe that 39 is going to be my best year yet!” She capped it off with a winking face emoji and a red heart emoji, and fans commented their well-wishes to celebrate.
Underwood’s husband, former Nashville Predators star Mike Fisher, also shared a photo of his superstar wife smiling with her cake, glowing with a few birthday candles. “Happy birthday [Carrie Underwood] the boys and I love you and appreciate you so much!” Underwood and Fisher are parents to two young sons, Isaiah and Jacob. Isaiah recently turned 7, celebrating with a stunning Star Wars-themed cake. The proud mama gushed that “it has been so much fun to see this little dude grow” as she shared a birthday tribute to her firstborn in recent weeks. The “Love Wins” singer and retired NHL player welcomed Isaiah in 2015, and Jacob followed in 2019.
Underwood is one of many artists included in the star-studded lineup at the iHeartCountry Festival presented by Capital One, set for May 7 in Austin, Texas.
