Alan Jackson posted a heartwarming tribute to his daughter, who is expecting her first child — Jackson’s first grandson — at the end of this year. The country music legend shared a sweet photo from his daughter’s wedding day, and another one of Ali with her husband. Jackson shared that he and his wife, Denise Jackson, were filled with excitement.
“Our baby is having a baby. Denise and I can’t wait to meet our first grandson in December!” Jackson captioned on Instagram. He included the hashtag, “You’ll Always Be My Baby,” referencing the heartfelt song written for his daughters’ weddings:
“Now you're a woman on your own/ All in love and nearly gone/ But you'll always be my baby/ No matter where you are/ You'll always be my baby/ Forever in my heart.”
One of Jackson’s other three daughters — Ali’s sister — Mattie Jackson Selecman gushed on her Instagram story earlier this week that her nephew would make his arrival in December. Jackson, who announced his “Last Call: One More for the Road” Tour earlier this year, hadn’t publicly commented at the time; however, some fans took the opportunity to congratulate the soon-to-be grandfather when he shared on his social media channels: “A lot about livin' and a little 'bout love.”
