Miranda Lambert reacted to a tribute to her Kerosene era.
Lambert’s Pistol Annies bandmates, Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley, stunning rendition of “Bring Me Down.” The ballad is one of 12 tracks that appeared on Lambert’s debut record in 2005, along with “Kerosene,” “What About Georgia?,” “New Strings,” “Me and Charlie Talking,” and more. Lambert shared the “Bring Me Down” cover on her Instagram story and wrote, “love my Annies 🩵.” Monroe and Presley wished a “happy birthday” to Kerosene, and added “we love you [Miranda Lambert] in the caption of their cover.
Lambert marked the milestone 20th anniversary of Kerosene with an anniversary edition that includes a never-before-heard 13th track. Now the most awarded artist in Academy of Country Music history, Lambert wrote and recorded “I Don’t Love Here Anymore” in 2005, and has kept the ballad under wraps ever since. The anniversary edition of Kerosene arrived on March 14. The original album made its debut on March 15, 2005. That debut record paved the way for many more hits by the Texas-born singer-songwriter, including “Gunpowder & Lead,” “White Liar,” “Wranglers,” “Run,” “If I Was a Cowboy” and more.
